I graduated from the US Naval Academy in 1992 and was commissioned as a Navy Supply Corps officer. I have served aboard a guided missile cruiser, a fast attack submarine, and a flagship. I have also served in Singapore and a combat tour in Afghanistan. My most recent tour is as Commanding Officer of the Navy's Priority Material Office in Bremerton, WA. My next tour will be on the staff of NATO's Maritime Component Commander in Naples, Italy.

Tommy went into the Army right out of high school in 1969. He served in Vietnam two years. He passed away of stroke 4 years ago at the age of 69. He bleached his hair blonde because he knew it would be shaved by the military. It was a lighthearted time. Tommy went away a boy and came back a man.
